Potty training

Where do I start? My daughter is showing an interest and saying "mama potty" when I go but my husband refuses to do the 3 day no pants weekend so now I have to start research over. I think she's ready so now what??

I bought a potty mine can sit on if he would like.

Here for this! The part that also gets me is taking off everything quick enough for my little to get on the potty. She is still learning to listen to her body.

We go diaper free for most of the day. There's times when he doesn't make it to the potty, so he is involved with helping clean the pee. If he tells me pee before he pees, i tell him to run to the potty. I dont cary him so he knows where to go :) I spent a long time introducing the potty to my son. Id sit him on it and teach him how to push, just saying push and pretend like im pushing. Even if he didn't go, we would wipe, flush, and wash hands. Just a few days ago, he went poop on the potty, and we did that whole routine, and he got a sweet afterward. I dont give him sweets often, so I've been using it as a bribe for going on the potty🫣. One thing i do recommend is that if your little one is finally going in the potty, don't overreact or show much excitement. All i did was say, "Good job," "good job pushing," "you can do it." Encouragement. The mama in me wanted to scream and jump and cry, but i felt like it would be overwhelming for him😅
