Yes! Both my 4.5 year old and 3 year old are into video games. They are actually really good at them lol. They want to play because my husband and I play video games. We monitor the kinds of game they play. Absolutely no Roblox. Only games we know and like and can control the settings for communication.

@Kiara What games do they play? I’m thinking of getting my son a game system.

Mine is interested but can't coordinate her hands well and understand what that translates to on screen

My son loves playing on my husband's ps4. He loves the racing games. Then on his fire tablet he loves playing minecraft.

Yes my daughter plays “party animals “, “bluey the video game”. There’s also a Disneyland game where she just runs around as a kid lol it’s the cutest.

My 8 yr old and 4 yr old love playing video games and are pretty good at them

Yes! He plays some with his dad!

My 4 year old started playing my switch a bit, she likes playing pokemon snap, suika, and I got a paw patrol game for her that’s toddler friendly. She’s attempted Mario party too but can be a bit complicated for her. Her cousin recently showed her Minecraft so she been interested in that but I haven’t bought it for her yet.

My daughters is

Yes!!!

Hubby is thinking about getting Nintendo switch

My kiddo has been playing games on her tablet on and off since she was 2. Around her 4th birthday (April) I started teaching her how to use a mouse at my computer. I let her play a renovation simulator to get the hang of things because it's very point-and-click, and the hit boxes can be set to large. We have not played with controllers with her yet and I'm not sure why honestly.

My 4yr old daughter plays my Xbox as well, paw patrol, peppa pig those kind of games she loves! Oh and here and there some Roblox but absolutely NO mincraft I completely HATE that game. I only sometimes give into Roblox bc she has no friends at all and so she calls them her friends which is fine as long as she’s not hearing NASTY words.,also games a little on her iPad .

My girl gets so frustrated it is really hard to let her freak out and keep trying

@Brittany it might help to play a creative game instead of a winning game so that she won't feel like she's losing or not good when things don't go as planned. Instead she can create things. When I help my 4yo play House Flipper it really gets her excited to choose all the wallpapers and paint colors, so she keeps going even when painting the wrong spot gets her close to throwing a fit.
