Are trigger shots worth it for just medicated cycles (not IUI)

It depends on the ultrasound result, when they check to see the ovary that has matured follicles. I did ovidrel last cycle and it came out negative because the matured follicles were on the right ovary, my right tube was removed surgically due to ectopic pregnancy. It might work for you if you have your both tubes intact. But know that an ultrasound will be done before taking the shot.

I got pregnant with my first trigger shot. I'm convinced it is what pushed me over the edge into pregnancy. I had done 3 cycles of letrozole at 2.5 mgs. I got pregnant the first time that ended in an ectopic and then not pregnant the 2nd and then the 3rd we tried the trigger and I'm 32 weeks pregnant now with my rainbow. I didn't have any extra side effects so it was very worth it to me.
