My son just went with me to my appointment when he was 16 months (very delayed) and they just got him used to the room and he opened his mouth from a distance. It’s just to get them used to it really at first x

I took him at six months and then at a year. Will go back at 2.

My dentist just added my kids on to my own yearly appointments, so my first was about eight months when she first saw the dentist and my second was just over a year.

I've been taking her since she was about 7 months old. Mostly the dentist just tries to get her to smile or laugh to look at her teeth that way. He's been very good at giving advice on caring for her teeth.

At 14 months

16 months but he only got his first tooth at 15 months

As soon as he got his first tooth

I tried to take my little one along with me to my appointment, but they said they don’t check so early. I probably should have pushed them a little more as the nhs suggests it once they get there first tooth!

17 months. She had her first teeth at 10 months old but just couldn't get her into a nhs dentist 🤦🏼‍♀️

I haven’t

My dentist won’t see my son until he’s 2 but he comes along with us to our apps so is used to the room

We’ve had a year and 18 month appointment, just getting her used to it at the moment. Asking her to open it her mouth and get a sticker

Mine won't see my toddler until she's two so she's got basically all her teeth
