Mum guilt
Has anyone else had to miss their child’s birthday due to labour/being in hospital? Looking like I’ll be induced around my little girls 3rd birthday and I keep feeling so down about it😫 the mum guilt is real

i'm nervous about this too. my daughter turns two 3 days after my due date, so it could definitely happen. i just keep telling myself that she won't remember it anyway, but doesn't change how guilty i'll feel if it does! just think though, you'll be giving her the most wonderful birthday gift xx
I know mum guilt is the worst but remember your little one has no idea when their birthday is, so maybe you could make a big fuss and celebration before your induction if you have time? (Not sure when you’re booked for) could also do it after but may be a bit harder. My son is turning 3 2 weeks before my c section date but if it was close within days I would’ve celebrated his birthday a different day this year xxx
