I had a boy result but it was wrong. Probably contaminated it when doing the sample! I got a refund tho after my girl was born!
Yeah I did think that! I have 2 males in the house and 1 male dog so I made sure I tried my best to scrub my nails and wash surfaces so hope the tests are accurate! I’ve heard mixed reviews. Thanks for your input though fingers crossed it’s correct!
I did it at 10 weeks I think, I have my son and husband in the house, got a girl result which I was shocked at but it turned out accurate! X
Oh that’s promising then ! If it’s a girl result then I won’t doubt it but if it’s a boy I think I’m going to have to get a scan when the time comes so I can be sure. I just worry the test could be contaminated with all these males in the house lol
I did mine today dead on 6 weeks. I’m so impatient 😂
I had a NIPT which also looked at gender. I didn’t look til she was born but it was accurate. 10 weeks.
We did one at a clinic, so we could ensure it wasn’t a contaminated sample and ours was correct and a boy!
@Scarlett hey, I’ve just got a boy result back but now worry I’ve contaminated it some how like you said you did. Can I ask when you did your test did you scrub your nails and do all the bits that they advised before taking blood ? I’m just wondering how easy it is to contaminate these things?
@Gabriella yes! Well I thought I did it all properly but obviously not 🫣 we went for private gender scan at 16 weeks and they said girl!
@Scarlett ok that’s interesting! It must be way easier to contaminate with boys then. Il have to wait to double check at 16 weeks 🙃
Mine were accurate said girl was a girl It’s easier to have wrong boy result due to contamination but I lived with 3 boys and boy cat and still didn’t get contaminated
