First midwife appointment
Hey everyone, I’m due 23rd May. I was wondering if anyone else is due around the same time and has heard from a midwife yet. I saw my GP last week and was told to self refer to the midwifes which I did but haven’t heard anything yet.

i was told they like to see you within 2 weeks from point you self refer. i self reffered last week and have booking appt witb midwife 4th october🤷🏻♀️
I’m due 21st May. I’ve been to the midwife today. I just phoned the surgery and booked in with the midwife. I didn’t see the GP
I’m due 20th May but midwife still won’t see me, I chased up the referral as I didn’t hear anything and they said likely around 9 weeks
@Kate oh no, I hope I don’t get the same response, I was thinking of chasing my referral up. Is that standard in your area?

They will probably try to book you in between 8-10 weeks. So you will probably hear from there near then!
