Completely planned but suddenly freaking out and panicking as my symptoms are slowly creeping in. It's going to be so different to the first time around that's for sure

Take all the help you can get lol x

1. Sleep train, the best thing I did was sleep train as it meant that I could relax after 7 pm 2. Prep food ahead. There are loads of various freezer meal preps as you will not have time to cook, especially with 2 under 2. 3. As above, ask for help, weekend trips to the park, etc. 4. Lable everything, I got plastic drawers that sit in my LO wardrobe. I have labels for all his clothes (I.e. pants, short sleeve tops, long sleeve tops etc.) This way, if you're not able to get round to get the item, it is very easy to direct anyone to get it. 5. Folder with instructions. Not sure if you have regular family help and they know how to take care of your toddler. But it not I have created a survival guide while I was away in the hospital with no 2. This way all information regarding food routine tips and tricks were there. Mean that my partner could help me longer in the hospital. 6. Stack up on toddler snacks. Need I say more. 7. Pack hospital essentials from 34 weeks onwards.

I find that my husband will not be able to get the things I want if he has to pack for me. Granted, I had my hospital bag packed from 30 weeks, but that's just me. 8. Try to arrange the nursery prior to your 3rd term. When you're at the last stretch, you want to rest as much as possible with a toddler it's even less. Any prep prior is ideal. 9. I have created a designated toddler cupboard with his plates, cups, and utensils. So that when I have in-laws helping with supper, it's easy to find. Also comes in handy for the toddler survival guide. 10. Don't be too hard on yourself. Don't stress if you're not able to get round to clean or do the washing up. As you are taking care of a tiny tornado and growing a new human. You will have time to clean when they are older. I am neurotic so git my toddler into a laundry gave where he gets to unload and load the laundry while we sing silly songs, "Put the sock in, put the shirt in, etc". If you can implement this now, it will help down the line.

I may have just been lucky, but when #2 was born, my #1 was a proper mother hen who just wanted to help. Training her up to get a few bits was the best thing I did (please can you get me a nappy/the baby wipes etc) It was so helpful, as I was recovering from a section. Now expecting #3, she's more broody then me and already making plans for how she's going to look after her new little sister!

@Rasa thank you so much for taking the time to write all this for me! Super helpful and Congratulations on your new arrival! 💕
