I’d be mad at him lying about it, not mad that it’s fake.
Yeah I was mostly upset he lied. He wants to take it back now. I said it’s fine I’ll still wear it but I think he would be embarrassed if someone saw me with it and knew it was fake. I’m not 100% sure he knew it was fake at first because literally when I asked him, he showed me on his phone where he was looking up what the real ones look like lol. I guess I shouldn’t think too much into it. But he’s the type of guy that wouldn’t wear fake stuff so that’s what threw me off
I feel he insisted on saying that it was real because of your reactions he know how u might react probably and all in all u still made him feel kinda embarrassed about it. Just my opinion. I can't really say how u should feel because I would be ok with it lol. I'm not really a name brand type of gal but I know some ppl are. He probably wanted to get you the purse 👛 he thought u might like it n he like n said I know she gone want the real one so Ima insist on telling her that lol without having to spend the original price on it. If those purses kinda high. If its not high purses then he S*** outta luck lol I tried to help em 🤣
@Krystal it’s like a $225- $450 dollar purse for the real one depending on size. And I don’t really care for expensive stuff but idk I guess this is just an odd situation cause I didn’t really ask for another purse. He already got me one and it’s a real one and this one was just so obviously fake, like idk I just don’t see how he thought I wouldn’t know 🤣. I think it’s just the lying that threw me off
I wouldn’t be mad about it being fake however I would be mad about the lying. That’s one thing I can’t stand like why do you feel the need to lie over something so stupid?

Totally fine to get a fake one. He might have liked the look but didn’t want to spend the money for this or that reason. But it’s not ok to lie. I’d have a chat and explain that getting a fake one wouldn’t make the gesture less valuable and it’s nothing to be embarrassed about. On the other hand, if you’d never wear a fake item, then I’d be honest as well. Say you really appreciate the thought but you don’t want to upset him by not wearing his presents, hence you’d like to be upfront. If my partner lied, I’d explore why he felt like lying is the best option to go for.
