Low platelets count ?

Anyone has low platelets count ? Between 85 and 100 ? What does your doctor think ? What type of delivery did you decide ? My numbers have gone down from 109 to 95 in a week and I am very nervous about a higher risk of getting PPH again ( I got it in my first delivery)

I also have low platelets, we're watching it closely each week until delivery and if I drop below like 80-100 then they may induce at 39 weeks. Also it can prevent you from being able to get an epidural but they can give you steroids to help somehow

@Tiffany apparently c section is not a good idea because the bleeding is worse with c section

@Vlada yes it’s the same scale. 134 is not bad , it’s lower than the min but still safe ….. all pregnant women experience drop in platelets it’s normal specially in third trimester …. They start worrying when it’s lower than 100 , then it’s really serious when it’s lower than 80

My doc said the same, below 100 is a little iffy but 80 is worse. My doc still wants to induce tho if I drop

I'm at like 121 right now, my midwife said they don't usually see big drops late in the game so I should be okay and to remember it's still my choice to induce or not
