Yeah 36 weeks is fine. Can I ask where you got your colustrum harvesting kit? I don’t want to pay a silly price for syringes

@Marina i haven’t purchased anything yet as wasn’t sure when to start!

@Marina I got some from Amazon! £6 x

Your midwife or nurse should give you some syringes to collect x

My midwife’s said if it leaks at 36 weeks then collect if if you want to but u shouldnt start doing it yourself until 37 weeks as it might cause labour there’s no evidence it does but just to be sure x

I started at 36 weeks, bought on Amazon xx

37 weeks any earlier can induce labour which is what my midwife told me

I was told 37 weeks. I haven’t started yet x

Every midwife I spoke to said 37 as it induced labour and you don’t want them be born pre this time x

I started at 36 weeks x

My midwife said 36 weeks

my midwife said 36 weeks and that’s when i started. i haven’t googled to be honest, but she said there’s no scientific evidence that it can induce labour, but just explained if you experience contractions (which would be unrelated) whilst doing it to stop - again not sure how true this is, but just what i was told! x
