Insane anxiety. Is this normal?

I’m 36 and pregnant with my first (5 weeks). Since I’m a high-risk pregnancy due to my age, I feel like I’m going crazy with anxiety that I might miscarry. I’ve taken multiple pee stick tests, worried the line will get less dark. Every time I feel a trickle down there, I freak out that I’m bleeding out. This all can’t be good for the baby. Is this normal? Or am I way too anxious?

I'm a mum of three, and my first pregnancy symptom is always anxiety. It's the rise in hormones and wanting your baby to be ok. I bled from 5 weeks to 16 weeks with both my girls now 6 & 4. Everything you feel is valid, and you could ask for an early scan or book one privately. But wait till at least 6 weeks as they don't anyways see a heartbeat before which just raises anxiety!

I felt anxious too even third trimester I was scared of stillbirth. I had bleeding too but barely anything like just spotting one drop of pink blood I would go to triage and if I felt less movement but baby was just sleeping. The anxiety will always be there as a first time mom but hopefully it will lessen over time. I have less anxiety now that the baby is born but I still feel paranoid of like my baby getting kidnapped or falling off the bed. I think it’s normal to worry all the time as a mom. What helps a lot is don’t read too much online because every experience is different. As I read too much stories about still birth and cord wrapping around I felt so anxious. I wish you the best and that this feeling lessens over time.

I’m pregnant with #2 and anxiety is my worst and most consistent pregnancy symptom. It’s made worse with 2 previous losses, but it’s always there regardless. It sucks, but it went away when I had a MMC… it’s my least favorite pregnancy symptom

Hope everything goes well for u dear ❤️

I am 39 and the anxiety is real!! I do google every pull and tug! Which probably doesn’t help!
