Anyone else not have their nursery ready?

34 weeks today and stressed as everyone else seems to have everything all set up and ready and I absolutely do not. I know they won’t be in it for a few months so not overly bothered about having a cot yet it’s just more a space with baby’s things all organised. Everyone I see on social media seems to have it together and it’s stressing me out! Please share with me if you are also in this state to help ease my mind a little lol

We don't have a nursery as baby will be sharing a room with his older sister, I have put clothes into draws and wardrobe tho, just because I had bags everywhere. Don't stress to much do it at Ur own pace x

Haha yes we are nowhere near close, second baby and we are in the process of building a cabin for the garden so that the small 3rd room can become baby's nursery. Probs won't be finished until a week before! 😵‍💫 Trying to be calm but my nesting urges are full on intense! Haha. Screw social media, it's also much more important to make your room nice as that's where you'll be spending most your time, and spending money on meals, postpartum vitamins/mum support at the moment! ❤️

Nope! Baby will be sharing with big Sis when the time comes, I had all her nursery prepped and ended up getting rid of everything and getting her a floor bed! So not buying until he's ready to be in his own space x

We have nothing set up! Baby will sleep in our room initially and then probably in our office until they are 1 and then move in with her sister. Want to get the next to me pulled out of of the loft in the next few weeks though and find the box of newborn clothes. But otherwise we won’t do more than that until later

Apart from some clothes nothing done yet lol. Don’t stress out I am sure we will be fine & things can sorted slowly

Do not compare Yourself to social media ! It’s the worth when it comes to making you feel guilty As long as you get some nappies some stuff to wipe and some clothes you are what the baby needs 😉 don’t let the pressure get to you! Xx

We are moving house 8 days before baby is due so naturally can't organise anything. I really wouldn't worry about it!

I've barely bought anything yet! Going to see about getting some baby clothes today and look at a next-to-me cot. There's often something that doesn't get done...It's good practice to get used to things not going to plan 😋😄☯️ We don't have a spare room and I thought most people slept with the baby in their room to begin with?! My midwife said the recommendation is 6 months. We might move if we're lucky enough to find anywhere (private renting and no deposit atm, self employed and a lot of places want a minimum income to even book a viewing now 🙃) So we'll see what happens...

I’m waiting to move house lovely, not got a thing sorted! 😂 don’t worry, all they need is you x

I'm 34 weeks tomorrow. I live in a one bed flat so baby is staying in our room for the foreseeable 😁 no nursery here!

We don't have a nursery, currently undergoing a house renovation.. half the house is under construction and we are living in the sitting room/kitchen and bedroom 😅 with no other rooms in the house 🤣 I'm just taking it as it comes, baby will be in with us for the first 6 months, I'll figure the nursery out next year 🤣

I've done nothing 😂 the cot is still dismantled under the bed, I don't have any clothes storage organised and I've not started packing a hospital bag yet either 😅

We don’t even have a nursery lol, our 2nd bedroom is my partners 11 yr old sons room. Baby will be with us til we can buy a bigger house. All baby stuff is in the loft til much nearer the time so it doesn’t take up space now

We don’t have a nursery. Our daughter’s room is too small to share with new baby too. We will just have a Moses basket in our room (not set up yet) and I’ve emptied 2 of my drawers for baby but that’s all. We’ve just put our house up for sale too so all bad timing haha but we’ll manage :-) I’m more laidback this pregnancy

We are renovating our entire house (kitchen, living room, basement, garden, bedrooms and bathrooms) and I’m currently 31 weeks pregnant. Baby girl isn’t going to have a bedroom until after she’s born (probably 🫤) but that’s okay because she’ll sleep in our room for the first few months anyway! I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

I’m 32 weeks pregnant and moving house next week. We have boxes surrounding us. And won’t have nursery ready any time soon either! Don’t let it worry you. They don’t need it at the start anyway

I moved into a new house a week before my first son was born and insisted his nursery be done before he arrived. He never went into his own room till he was 19 months so I’m being far more chill about the nursery this time.

Nothing at all ready lol, I need to buy a wardrobe for his clothes but I’m not rushing to buy a cot bed and all different furniture because he’ll be in his next to me for a while yet

I’m 33+4 and we’re still waiting for our carpets to be laid, looking at getting them done next week and then will make a start!
