Wondering

How do y'all make it with no job? What do you do to bring income in? Or what would you do?

I started my own business doing eyelashes. My mother in law and sister inlaw watch my baby for a couple hours. I also tried selling my own personal products through etsy but no bites yet. I guess it just takes persistence and dedication.

I was a full time hairstylist/Makeup artist before I got pregnant. My boy will be 2 next month and I’m just starting to get back working. I don’t have the energy for hair anymore so I’m just doing makeup. My son is a handful so I can only do it when I have someone to keep him out my way which is usually only on my boyfriends off days. I’ve lost a good chunk of my clientele but I guess what I have is better than nothing.

If you have a decent vehicle that works fine and isn’t always breaking down, you can always start renting your car out to people on this platform called “Turo”. It brings in decent income. Or if not that, start Driving for Uber

I do hair (locs) and special art projects (tshirt making) and a lil baking (catering).. most people come to me and my child goes where I go if I have to deliver…. And I get a biweekly allowance from my spouse 😊

We are on one income and taking WIC and health insurance by the state for the three of us. That helps a lot and then since I've been the one at home and doing my best to be responsible for everything that comes in and goes out. Biggest things that we have changed have been how much we've spent on groceries and eating out, it makes a difference over time.

I have a Sugar Daddy. My husband 😂 he agreed to pay for all my expenses me being a sahm as he knows what’s it’s worth and even if I did go back to work properly it’ll all go on childcare. He also believes no one will raise our lils better than me. Until they go to school. So he provides until then. My bestie is a mobile tech lash she travels to peoples houses and our friend group is always taking turns to do lashes so it helps her out. My other friend is a Beauty tech she set up a room in her own house. Doing massage and facials, selling the products that she uses on the side. But both those girls are single they have no partner to rely on

I tutor kids at night and weekends when my husband is home.

Lived with family for a few years, and now renting from a grandparent in a house after they moved in with another relative. Not eating out and buying any clothes/things from goodwill. I will work if I can either get wic or just when my kids are finally in school

SAHM here lol. My husband pays for everything since the beginning of our relationship before him it was my dad’s “problem”. I never really worked before. I want to start my own business. Just can’t figure out what it should be.

I have no work beside home and of course no income. My husband is the only one working for now but I’m getting crazy because I’d like to work but at the same time I’m afraid with who’s going to stay with my baby or if it’s going to be affordable leave her in daycare. I don’t have any experience selling stuff online

At the moment, my husband is working on his own business he's had for 7 years. Things are really tight, because it's just him (no employees like he used to have prior to his divorce of his first marriage), but we're making it by. If I need to make money, I know how to take portraits, so I feel like I'd maybe want to try to do photoshoots to earn some extra money on the side.

@Kellie You've already been raising and teaching them. Why not homeschool? Like you said no one will raise them better than you

My husband and I started a business together, and now I get government money, which helps. I've been promoted to stay at home mom and admin. If I were you, I'd start a business rather than get a job

We don’t 😅 currently looking for some work because we’re struggling right now
