Potty Training

Hi mamas!! Looking for some advice. We started potty training not long after my daughter turned two (end of February). She was very close to being fully potty trained by April when she got sick. Strep throat, the flu, and a double ear infection at the same time. It was awful she was almost hospitalized. This halted her potty training for weeks while she recovered. Ever since I have tried everything to get her potty trained again and she has no interest anymore. I don’t know what else to try. I have done timers and put her on the toilet, potty treats, a potty chart, I even stripped her and let her pee on herself and it didn’t even phase her. She refuses to pee in the toilet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated😂

I have a two year old who was born in February, too! I'd love any tips as well, my daughter is too good for the potty apparently 😂

I'm in the same boat. My son refuses to use the potty and will just pee on the floor😂😂 Everytime I offer him to go potty he gets mad at me.

@Brittney the audacity 😂

@Katie Fr😂😂 I also have a 1.5 year old daughter and i was trying it with her i offer the potty to her which she will sit on the she'll go pee on the floor after and come up to me and say pee then show me where she peed😂😂

I know tablets/screens are everyone's cup of tea, however if it is your...we started giving our son (same age as your daughter) his tablet with his educational games loaded on it when we would do potty time. Now we have to set timers to get him off the potty bc he will just sit there and keep going every so often. If he doesn't have his tablet he will pee and climb down lol. Definitely helps when he has to poo though because he will just sit there until he is completely done. And it is the only time he wants his tablet now. We also started by doing potty time every 30 minutes via timer and would make him sit on the toilet. Then we moved it to 45 minutes and eventually no timer at all. Now he just says he has to go and runs to the bathroom. We started with a training toilet but got tired of emptying it every time so ended up getting the one that is built into the regular toilet seat itself. The toilet lid has a magnet in it to auto grab the baby seat when closed 😁

@Taylor So, tell me more..Is it an iPad with movies or games?

@Taylor . We have tried everything for 2 months and no luck yet.

@Carol We got him one of the kids tab2 tablets from tmobile. we have Netflix on it which he has figured out how to get into and knows which profile is his 🤣 but we have a ton of games on it that are mostly educational. However kiddo has figured out how to get into the play store and download free games 🤣 he has a bunch that he found that are surprisingly either educational or good for problem solving
