Mirena IUD
Hi! I was wondering if anybody has/had the Mirena IUD? Did you like it or not? Just wondering thoughts? Pros/cons? Just your experience. Looking at different birth controls. My oldest is 21 months and I just had a baby 6 weeks ago. :) thank you!

I have it and love that I don’t have to worry about getting pregnant. I still get monthly periods though… apparently I’m one of the few 🫣 but they are super light (just a little annoying I still get them).
I had the Paragard (hormone free) and it worked exceptionally well prior to my removal then wham pregnant on our first try. My thought after years of hormonal birth control is I wanted my body to do its THING! It did and I never looked back to hormonal birth control

I had it for 5 years before getting pregnant and now almost 2 years after. I really like it. The insertion just felt like a period cramp and was super quick. And I loooove not getting a monthly period
