Teething tips??

My once very calm and happy baby who barely cried has now turned in to a nightmare. He’s almost 11 months and seems to be teething but like extreme. He has 4 at the top and 2.5 at the bottom and he’s not been like this for any of the others. I can’t see any obvious signs of any new teeth emerging either. He is drooling so much I’m changing his clothes 3-4 times because they’re soaked. He is pulling his ears and putting his fingers in his mouth and randomly crying. He is having crying spells of up to 30 mins to the point where I can’t console him no matter what I do. He will wake up every hour at night and just cry, doesn’t want to be rocked or held and doesn’t want the boob which normally calms him down instantly. And he will cry even more if we put him down. This can go on for over an hour sometimes through the night. He’s barely getting 8hrs sleep over night and his naps are short too. I just don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve been giving him paracetamol and ibuprofen regularly, offering him teething rings etc but nothing helps. We’re currently on day 4 and I don’t know how much more of this I can take

Get some Anbesol for babies (gel and liquid) from the pharmacy. It literally numbs the gums and works amazing! Also try freezing some of your your breastmilk in an ice cube tray and putting in a fruit feeder (we call these milky pops), really soothes our girl, and sometimes the only way I can get her on the boob! I literally was throwing all this at her and calpol/ neurofen when her two first teeth came through last week.

Wet wash cloth

Try Camilia teething drops, they work like magic.
