Travelling abroad tips

We’re thinking of going on holiday (a week in Greece) during half term with our 4 year old and baby who will be 3 months. Has anyone travelled abroad with a 3 month old? Any tips, must have purchases are very welcome 🙏 x

following! thinking of taking my baby to poland to meet extended family

Nuby uv steriliser was very helpful, and a travel pram like didofy aster was game changing as I could change nappies on the go in his pram x

We went to Menorca this year with a 5 year old and 4 month old, the plane was good definitely feed baby taking off and landing which I found helped. I bought nappies when I got through security, and we took the buggy right up to gate. Toys and snacks for the plane too x

You can take two baby items ie car seat/travel cot/travel pram (2 piece prams count as 2) for free. I bought a bag for the carseat which was huge and was able to stuff a load of nappies and other bits in there! Definitely feed on take off and landing stops their ears from popping. If bottle feeding order your milk to boots at the airport. At 3 months they are so portable and easy to entertain you'll have a great time!

We did Tenerife with a 9 week old. Snoozeshade, pram fan, muslin blankets, a baby float with sun canopy, sunsafe swimsuits, boots or Nivea baby suncream, Milton tablets and a collapsible bucket to sterilise bottles, we also took a portable bassinet and had it in between us on the bed (steel frame) as I didn’t want her in a travel cot that young. Wear baby in a carrier if you can getting on and off plane, dummy or bottle when taking off and landing. If you have a nuby rapid cool check your airport as most take them off you in security - you can take a flask of hot water and as much milk as you need in hand luggage. Biggest advice is don’t overpack clothes as baby will be in a nappy most of the time x

We took our 8 month old away on long haul do boots click and collect from the airport was out life saver for everything saved or space to x

Thank you all for your comments and advice 🥰

We just got back from Spain yesterday with our 4 month old and 2 year old. Absolutely brilliant and they both loved it. We are formula feeding so happy to share everything we did for that if you like xx
