We have a balance bike. It took a while for him to get used to the bike itself. (Would cry if you put him on it). The last half of August he actually started using it. It was really slow going. Took him an hour to go two blocks to the park. He would get the handles twisted and the bike would fall. I showed him the first few times how to pick it back up and let him figure it out every time after. Part way there he had a little meltdown but eventually made it to the park. The way home was a lot better. You just need to have a lot of patience. The hardest thing to learn is the balance so I highly suggest the balance bike.

Balance bike from 2 years old. Then straight to a pedal bike with no stabilisers, she could ride it from age 3.

A balance bike for my 1 year old, he does pretty well.

My son is a year and a half and we're thinking of buying him a balance bike to get him started.

Amazing! Thank you guys balanced bike it is ☺️

My 4 year old son has both a balance bike and a regular bike with training wheels. He can now ride his bike with training wheels. I believe he got the bikes last year for his birthday or Christmas from his god mother and my oldest sister.
