Fingers crossed

I'm 38+2. I have an appointment in the morning for a cervical check, I'm hoping they say I've dilated enough to induce. I'm hoping I go into labor tonight, lol. I'm just so over being pregnant. I just want this baby out ASAP. They're saying he's already over 8 lbs and I'd hate to be forced into a C-section.

If it makes you feel better. ALL but one of mine (I currently have 5 kids) was 8ibs something. Except for my 3rd, he was 9ibs 6ozs. ALL have been delivered vaginally. No C-sections. And I'm sure my 6th (and last) that's due next month will be in the 8ib something club too. 8 or 9 pounds don't always mean C-sections. As long as you're listening to your body and pushing when your body is telling you too. You should be ok 👍 I'm rooting for ya though on dilation. I've never had an early baby. Always 4-6 days late, except for my 9 pounder. He was a whole 10 days late. I was SOOOOOO done by the time he arrived lol. Those last week's are so tough. I'm currently 35 weeks with this one and I already want to be done lol.

@Bree All my kids came early, all under 8lbs, so this is my biggest baby. Idk how you did it lol. But I am 3cm and they've scheduled my induction for the 26th I'm still hoping he comes before then.
