We eloped. We were planning on tattoo rings after we got married so we didn’t really do engagement rings. If we did, I think we would’ve picked them out together cuz of how we planned the wedding.

He asked me if I wanted a custom made one cuz I wanted an opal so that's what we did
We both did, he asked me to send him a load that I liked and he chose one from my selection and he did good and brought my favourite without me even telling him it was my fave ☺️
We've been offered his great grandmother's ring if we were to get engaged/married - so I guess his Aunt would choose (she's the one offering) haha. Not sure if it's engagement or wedding ring but I'm not a big jewellery person so I'd probably just have the one.
We went ring shopping so he could figure out what I liked. Then he got one later, and I love it.

My husband picked it with his mum I think actually before I had even met her! He got it so right though because I’m obsessed with pink and he managed to find me an engagement ring with pink accents 🩷
It was my grandmother's engagement ring and I knew for years I wanted it. My husband only had to pay to reset the diamond and resize it, so I don't think he's complaining that I didn't want something new 😂
