You just give your MATB1 to your employer and HR does the rest. I just thought I would let you know that if you want or if it’s easier some employers let you split it over however long you’re off so I split mine over 12 months. Congratulations and I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well

I am SO jealous. I get 6 weeks at 90% pay and then 33 weeks at lower rate statutory……😭
yeah fair play to your employer! 6 months full pay is such a good perk, 6 weeks at 90% is the basic they can do, so they’ve got a decent maternity policy there 👏🏼
@CharlotteI know it’s really good! I work for the government too! My dad’s company give 12 months full pay!

You just need to get your MAT B1 form to your employer by 25 weeks. HR will handle everything as long as you've been working there since at least 41 weeks before your due date.
