No tips really but we started potty training at the start of the school holidays but only this week has he started pooping in the potty. Each time he poo’d in his pants we just always talk about what does it feel like to need a poo, where does poo go, In the potty ect. If he showing signs hands around bottom, a certain noise/grunt he make, I’d encourage him to sit on the potty while watching tv. Talking about how it feels and to be patient ect. The first time he really struggled and it took a long time. Then each time after that he’s finding it easier. Pirate Pete’s potty book really helped us. And while he was trying I’d leave it on the page where he has a poo on the potty and then we cheer( the button on the page makes this sound)

@Natasha thank you! I’ll look at the pirate Pete as we have another one of those books and he loves it!

Having this exact same problem 🥺

I read somewhere that maybe putting an open nappy over the potty can help and then transition that out...

@Davinia ooh ok, worth a try!
