Pregnancy Anxiety

Hey everyone! Anyone still experiencing pregnancy anxiety and you’re still praying everyday to keep you and your baby safe? What are you doing help with your pregnancy anxiety. We’re all about to embark on our third trimester soon which should be exciting but my anxiety/fear creeps in. Especially since the baby flutters/movement isn’t as consistent as I would like to be but I am also told those movements really start to pick up by week 27 (going into the 3rd trimester)

I get really bad anxiety from sleeping because I’m worried about rolling on my back and that impacting my baby. I have been trying to use the harmony app and calm app to try and ease my anxiety but ngl I cried twice this morning because I was so overwhelmed! It’s not easy :/ my baby isn’t consistent either with the kicks.

I’m seeing a counselor now for that !!

@Ashley has it been helpful?

@whitney I feel you! You don’t really get a peaceful sleep. You’re resting but not really at the same time

Yes, girl, it's always very normal for your first one not to be consistent, feeling right away. A lot of the time, the baby is moving, and we can't tell. The most active hours are at night as well. If your placenta is in the front, you will feel baby even less. So I wouldn't worry too much. I bought a doppler to check the heart beat to give me ease with my first one. Understand, though, if the placenta is in the front, it is very difficult to find a baby's heartbeat on doppler unless you are a professional.

Yes i am as well! I think it’s because i had a mc before this pregnancy. So i worry a lot. I try not to but it is hard. This is also my first baby girl after 2 boys so im scared for something bad to happen because i want her so much🥺 i prayed for her everyday. This is why I just announced it after my anatomy scan. I don’t have much advice just know your not alone. I had a therapist with my second, after i was afraid of a mc after my father passed and she told me to put positive affirmations on sticky notes in the bathroom mirror or the kitchen. That helped i need to do that again.

Yes! Still have anxious moments. I have random panic attacks at night.. but it’s nice to know what they are and how to manage them . You aren’t alone! It’s hard for all the “unknowns”. I find daily prayer, reading his word and listening to calming/spa like music and meditations on YouTube help a lot! Also breathing techniques! We got this! ❤️
