Booking appointment
Had my booking appointment today and was given aspirin as my mum had high blood pressure during pregnancy with me 😅😩 and they just wanna prevent preeclampsia.
Been marked as a bit of higher risk pregnancy due to my bmi also 🫣

I have been told this too! My midwife said to think of it as they will just see you more and not to think of it as a worry

@Callie I was a very small baby due to mums high blood pressure so they just wanna prevent it
@Dominika me too, i had to be born 4 weeks early due to my mums blood pressure and she wasn’t even allowed to push at all
My dad suffers with high blood pressure and I’m on the clasp of the BMI so they’re going to be doing more scans and keeping a close eye on me!
@Caitlin my bmi is over 35 so I’m just going to get growth scans instead of my bump measurements
I’m going to take it from 12 weeks too as I had preeclampsia in my last pregnancy
I need to take this aswell

I’ve got to go on aspirin from 12 weeks - 36 weeks because my mum had preeclampsia with both me and my sister and I was given a prescription for extra Folic Acid due to my BMI (which actually shows lower on badger notes than what the midwife said out loud in the appointment 🙈)
