We had some people show up that didn't RSVP and a lot didn't show up that did RSVP. Very annoying, especially when you're trying to plan for food. I've come to the conclusion that people are just rude these days. A lot of people don't bother with this kind of thing.

I planned my dream baby shower and spent $250 on food for the 60 people I invited and only 10 showed up and 5 of them were my immediate family out of state none of my husbands family showed and it was local for them it was very sad and wasted so much money renting a place to accommodate everyone who wanted to come when I could have saved myself so much money

@Lydia I’m literally crying rn bc of it the emotions we have to go through when nobody shows up but wants to show up when the babies born, I told them if you couldn’t show up for my shower don’t bother asking to meet my baby

I feel your pain. Nobody showed from my baby daddy's side. My mom couldn't make it because she lived out of town, but it was her best friend that hosted it for me. Only my aunts, grandma, and my mom's best friend were at my shower. My bestie couldn't get the day off work, but she did make it up to me. In total, 5 people were there for me. I felt so defeated and alone

My sister threw our gender reveal. She left the dumplings she made at home an hr away so brought a pack of sausage and some bread, the park bbq wasn’t great so after an hr they were still raw so couldn’t eat. My reveal was a little sad black balloon that was filled with blue glitter in the car by her friend on the way to said park. There was 5 people that came my aunt, uncle, their friend, my sister and her friend. She was also supposed to plan my baby shower but it just never happened? I understand the disappointment and frustration.
