Midwife home visit

I never had any home visit off the midwife until after I had baby (I had to go to them) and come up she came the following day. Then after that a health visitor

Apparently it’s a new thing that they come out before now aswell, read a few people on here have it between 28-34 weeks

@Olivia they said at my booking appointment they would be visiting, maybe it won’t happen though x

I had a home visit around 13/14 weeks to do the Bart’s test and then I had all the other appointments at the doctors. They came for a week or 2 after the birth and then pass you over to a health visitor x

@Tasha that makes sense I had my son in 2022 before it started then

@Olivia Yeah i had my little one in 22 too and they just came out after, it’s only just come in apparently. It’s more to support and prepare mum i think

My baby is 16 weeks old and we never had a home visit until after he was here xx

Mine came at 36 weeks and is coming again at 39 weeks x

I had a mw come at ~36 weeks for a ‘home birth assessment’

I’ve just did a referral, still waiting for my first visit. They said it told take up to 3 weeks after referral. I’m waiting patiently 😊
