"well you're just so petite!" 🤬

Bit of a rant... Everytime I go to the OB I mention my cramping, which I'm rather used to at this point. Just the same as my second pregnancy, I've had what I choose to call cramps because when you say contractions at 4 months they laugh at me. I definitely get enough water ("a dehydrated uterus is going to be crampy!") I don't over-exert myself, I take the vitamins. I would allow myself to ignore them if I didn't visually see my torso vaccumseal around my baby every time they come, there's no schedule but they're always happening. I understand I'm small, I'm 5"2' and weight gain has been a challenge the last couple years, but every. Single. Time. I mention "hey yeah the only problem this month is the excessive cramping" their go to line is ALWAYS "well you lre just so darn petite you're going to feel these things a bit stronger" 🙄🙃 I'm bad at standing up for myself and I'm tired to repeating myself... This is 3rd baby, my other 2 had to get induced because my body was ready before they were, and I don't know how to keep that from happening again. I see a lot of people mentioning their cramps now worried about early labor and my heart goes out to all of you. Sorry for the rant, y'all listen WAY better than everyone else 💕❤️💕❤️

Maybe you should be on complete bed rest.

As nice as that idea is unfortunately unless they admit me to the hospital I don't think that's an option. I have my other 2 kids during the day, and compared to 9 months ago I've already cut out everything but basic house chores and keeping the kids together.

I feel your pain - I started getting Braxton Hicks at 15 weeks this time around (I’ve been told I have “irritable uterus”). My midwife recommended an herbal tincture that has really helped keep them under control. It’s only recommended if your provider approves of it, but you can DM me if you’d like more info.
