Teething symptoms for months….

Anyone else had teething symptoms for months? We had them start in July, and they’ve still not cut. She’s so unhappy it’s starting to affect me mentally now after so long too… she rarely goes longer than 2hrs without a wake at night and will sometimes fight her first nap (when she’s showing all tiredness signs), so I’m exhausted too, and because she’s so sad it’s starting to affect us going to do things in the day as I just don’t feel mentally strong enough to cope with her screaming out and about. We’ve got all the different painkilling paraphernalia so not asking for advice on that, just ranting really and to see if anyone else is in the trenches of this too?

Same. Teething symptoms started around over 2 months ago and still no signs of teeth. Some days are better than the others, but mostly my baby wakes up screaming, teething gel sometimes helps sometimes not. It is so difficult, and i wish them teeth to come quicker to give her a break 😣

It’s tough isn’t it @Ramune! I’m feeling better now I’ve had a cup of tea. My little one is 6 months old today and I’d planned to go to a baby group at our local museum as it’s a nice sunny walk…. But our nap finally started right in the middle of it starting. We were up every 2hrs in the night, and had a 4hr wake window before the nap 😮‍💨 I feel so sorry for her as she’s so unhappy and in pain (god bless calpol!) I’m going to get her out in the sun for a walk after this nap and hopefully the day will take a nicer turn 🤞

I thought my girl was teething for the last 3 months and she only cut her first tooth last week I think a lot of people including myself mistake common behaviours for teething etc excess drool and chewing things but also I think there teeth do start moving around in there gums sometimes for a while before they cut!
