Switching to pull ups?

Little one is almost 8 months and I feel like I’m wrestling him every time I have to change him. We use kit and kin nappies and they do pull up nappies in his size so I’m wondering if I need to change to make my life easier? Any suggestions?

I found it horrendous changing pull ups when there was poo. You literally have to pull at the sides or use a pair of scissors. You can give it a go and see what you think but I wouldn’t be pro pull ups until they are close to potty training.

I personally find using pull ups more difficult than normal nappies tbh. I'm only using them as I go a ton really cheap. One benefit I have found is that she can't pull at the sides or tabs so the nappy always stays where it's supposed to be

We’ve been in pull ups for a while as my little one is such a wriggler. It’s been a life saver

I also find pull ups more of a faff. Bought a pack for my eldest when he started crawling and hating nappy changes, and then switched straight back to nappies. Won’t bother this time!

We bought a load of pull up pampers when Morrison's had them half price. I find them easy in the day as he can stand when I pull them up but a nightmare at night when he's in his pajamas and sleep bag. I have found the pull ups leak a bit more.

Thank you all! Going to just buy one pack and see how we go x

@Lesley most pull ups rip at the sides!

We use pull ups at night as she was leaking normal nappies and we had some free pampers ones that I had a voucher for. We get on well with them at night. Little faff to get on sometimes but to get off they rip at the sides so if there’s a poo / for wee it’s easy to just rip off! And no leaks as it doesn’t move like a normal nappy
