Birth control??

What birth control would you recommend that doesn’t have crazy side effects?? I’m literally petrified of taking birth control but most definitely won’t be ready for a third after this little man gets here

Track your cycle, pull out, use condoms. I don’t think any hormonal birth control is better than others - they will all mess with you

I track my cycle and he never ever cums inside and we avoid sex on peak ovulation days. Works for us. Since my boy was born 5yrs ago I’ve been doing that and haven’t had any pregnancies. He was conceived in one shot though when we did try coz I think my body accepted that “foreign” substance which was semen lol. From baby 2-3 was a 13yr gap and I wasn’t on any BC either we just used that method. Until we wanted a baby. Or you can try the IUD but that I heard hurts and you may bleed for a lil bit so physical side effects but nothing hormonal and it lasts 5yrs

Condom

@Zara Khan I agree and definitely understand the concept of a condom. Although I’m talking about a birth control I can take !!

Drs recommended copper IUD to me bc it’s non hormonal, BUT I have seen a couple copper IUD babies on here lol. Not any more than other bc babies though.

@Korissa that’s what I was thinking, just haven’t heard many things about people actually getting it. All the hormonal ish scares me.

@Kellie thanks girly, I’ll look into it more :))

@Natasha me too, I’m a psycho on BC and I get fat 😂😭😭

Vasectomy

Hormonal IUD, the hormones are localised to the womb

Same as @Kellie! Tracked my cycle for about 7 years and used condoms & pull out. Had 2 planned pregnancies and 4 years between when I didn’t want to be pregnant. Also just having kids is kind of contraceptive for me but maybe that’s just me 🤣

@Korissa exactly what I’m afraid of lmao 😅

@Madison not sure that’s what I was getting at but it’s okay haha

@Madison this is what we’re doing 🤣 I’ve told him he needs to do it before I have baby number 2 🤣 he already agreed to do it but he keeps putting it off so I’m pushing him before I have this baby 😂😂 I been on bc since I was 16 the pill and implant drove me nuts like literally it was bad. it was mostly the implant but I have a hormone imbalance so I went through phases where I’d be totally fine for months then all of a sudden I’d hate everyone and everything (the coil the most because I didn’t feel like me anymore) but I also have endo which it’s supposed to help and if it did on my good months but I’d still be unable to move with the pain when it wasn’t my good months Honestly it’s horrible

Nothing - every birth control will mess with hormones etc. pull out always worked for us x

People suggesting pull out is crazy! My friend got pregnant this way and I think it’s cruel on the guy lol. The best thing for me was depo but I can’t have it anymore unfortunately, I’m now on the mini pill ad I’ve been fine

Nothing. They all have side effects and each kind affects people in different ways. One that works well for some may not be the same for others.

I’m in the same situation. I was using cycle tracking combined with pulling out which worked great but that was before I got pregnant (on purpose) once this baby’s here I don’t want to take any chances so I’m planning on giving this a try https://femcap.com/new/

@Fernanda I’ve never heard of this !

@Laura I agree just asking for personal experiences. Everybody’s different but you can kind of get an idea of side effects both ways by asking.
