After birth needs to be an option. I want to meet them first to see what name fits/feels right

We are still brainstorming, I think my husband want to wait until the baby’s birth 😝

@Leah it wouldn't let me put anymore options. We still have NOTHING! My bf is so difficult. I don't necessarily need a set in stone name. But maybe like a narrowed down list would ease me a little! Lol

@Anna same with my partner!

I had both names for girl or boy as soon as i found out i was pregnant. 💕🥰

We've got a couple of top names

I had a name picked out before I was pregnant for if I was having a girl but I’m having a boy so we picked his name in first trimester :)

@Brianne totally! it’s a good sign because my husband takes it very serious, he wants the name of his first baby boy to be super special!

@Anna I named our son. He wasn't really a healthy person during my last pregnancy. He was homeless and then I sent him back to his dad's to get his life together. But Parker is our son's name. And he is named after Jesse's mother. She was such a great support to me even from across the country with her son being a menace. I'm so glad he found his way back! But yes he takes the naming very seriously. And he wants her name to be perfect. So I'm being patient and just continuing to Brian's storm!

You still have plenty of time. I usually just wait until it comes to me, which usually is in my 3rd trimester. Or like some of the names we toss around one of them will feel like the one. I do find girl names to be the hardest though. Try to think about what type of theme or style of names you like and that can help narrow down your search. Come up with a list each and see if you have any in common.

@Brianne my husband is VERY difficult too. If you want you can message me for help or check out my instagram the_name_list. I do baby name consults on the side. Or you can just check out who I follow on that page to get more baby name ideas.

@Leah we finally settled last night on a name. But when we told his sister she said that was the name that she wanted for her baby if she had a girl. But it's a little frustrating because she is trying to get pregnant however there's no guarantee that she will there's a lot of factors there that make it questionable. Also no guarantee that she'll have a daughter. So their mother says it's first come first serve if you want that name but it's not worth it to me to steal that from her.

@Brianne as a rule, it’s good practice to keep the names to yourself til the baby is born to avoid these conundrums. You’re on the right side in this situation though (unless she told you that outright beforehand), there’s no reason why it should impact your decision. It’ll be hard for your sister-in-law, but that’s just how things happened so she’ll just have to deal with it and find another name.
