Colic!!

My little girls 5 months and cries/screams all day pretty much from 7am till she goes to bed! I took her to the doctors he said she could be colic! I’ve tired many things to help her and nothing seems to be helping she’s also teething! It’s stressing us both out! I’ve been up at 2am most mornings because she isn’t sleeping either! This has started 2 weeks ago! What have you given your little ones to help? I’m at the end where I don’t know what to do!😭

Infacol helped ours out early on! I was told by Midwife that colic doesn’t exist anymore Every baby cries, but some babies cry more than others I have seen people take their baby to a specialist chiropractor and that helped them as sometimes it can be an alignment thing Some babies are fine, after being corrected

What milk are you using ? Have you started weaning also?

@Bella Kendamil 1 & I’ve been giving her odd spoon fulls of Ella’s kitchen pouches not everyday. Could this upset her stomach? X

I don’t know but just wondering if it’s possibly food related. I’d maybe stop the pouches for a couple weeks to see if she’s better. Then maybe start again on bland foods like blended carrot or mashed banana. I read introducing one food every 4 days so you can pinpoint which food isn’t being tolerated well. I’m not saying this is it but worth a try x

At 5 months babies should not have colic any longer. Colief, infacol or gaviscon might alleviate some symptoms but not treat the cause. Mine's just been diagnosed with reflux and cow milk protein allergy, so might be good to do a bit of reading around it and keep an eye out on what's bothering your little one and what makes them comfortable too. Push with those doctors, don't let them settle that 'babies just cry a lot'. Hope you get to the bottom of it ♥️
