Phlebotomy blood test usually 30-34 weeks with a health care assistant xx

@Sarah I had blood test at my last midwife appointment, an the date of that appointment I will 36 weeks x

It says phlebotomy in the reason for the appt box so it’s probably even more bloods (because we haven’t had enough of that yet)

@Bex AHH ok I didn't even get onto that. I literally had bloods took at my 30 week midwife check 🤦🏼‍♀️ x

@Amy I swear I have them at every midwife thing and every clinic thing it’s insane how much they want

They sometimes do repeat bloods every 2-3 weeks if something shows up slightly high or low in the run up to birth from 32 weeks onwards! It’s just to make sure you’re all prepped for birth with whatever you might need (iron etc). I only know this because something showed up on my bloods last time I went and I asked why I was having a repeat, and the midwife just explained it wasn’t high enough to cause concern, but they just wanted to check it wasn’t getting higher!
