When Do You Start Your Maternity Leave?

If you have the time take it I work in an office so I’m going until a week before I’m due
I’m due November 6, my last day of work is October 4. I work from home too but best believe if I’m getting paid leave, I’m going to take advantage of it.
I’m due november 9th, I was adviced to take my leave two weeks before my due date but I work as a preschool teacher and everything is just getting harder and more painful, I have no clue when I should really take it
I’m due November 1st, but I’m having a C Section on October 11th. I’m starting my leave on October 1st.
I’m also due November 2!!! I think by mid October I’m done working.
I'm due November 6. For those of you who can take leave early, I envy you. I'll be working up until I go into labor.
Due 11/14 and plan on working until baby comes! I work from home so it’s easier for me!
@Elise same lol at first I felt bad since I wfh. Even my manager was like you better take it
For my first baby, i planned to work to 38 weeks, but then she came early at 36 6 days so i worked all day and had her at night....for this baby MD is recommending to stop at 37 weeks...my due date is thanksgiving so as of right now my last day of work is Oct 31st...but thinking of doing earlier since this baby is really kicking my butt
I'm an independent contractor, a licensed massage therapist, so I'm going to try to work as long as i can as benefits are very different versus if I was employed.
I only get 56 hrs of maternity leave the rest i have to cover on my sick and vacation leave. And i have to have 40 hrs a week So im working all the way up until im in labor
I’m due 11/7 so I plan to be off after 10/31. I’m praying she doesn’t come early so I can at least have a week off before she’s here.
I’m due Nov 19th but starting leave Oct 18 …. I’m so uncomfortable and emotional already …we are also in the middle of some home renovations so I want to have time to get her room together and clean up really well before she arrives.
@Shayla Jeez that's so limited. Some jobs allow other employees to "gift you leave". I wonder if this is something your work has?

I’m going all the way - only because I work from home and can make myself comfortable. But even at that the mental load is definitely taking me down lately.
