Midwife appointment coming up. What should I ask?

I’ll be 25 weeks pregnant and feel I’ve not been given much information yet from my midwife so I’m intending to go in with a list of questions 😂 What type of questions were people asking around now? Thank you ☺️ x

I just had mine last week and my list was: Vaccines- which are on offer and more info Movements- more info on when I should be worried and what to do if I am (I was given numbers I would need to ring) Physio- I asked for a referral to physio because my back is killing me lol Next steps- what to expect at future appointments because they’re now every 3 weeks xx

I just had mine today. They don’t cover much themselves, they just ask you if you’ve had any changes you’d like to report. Took a urine sample, heart rate and heard babies heartbeat. Use this time to ask your questions since there isn’t so much to do on their side. I asked about vaccines, baby’s position, my week 20 scan results, got my MAT B1 form, and a fit to fly letter since I’ll be flying when I’m 28 weeks.

Mine was like a 15 minute appointment. I said if i get to hear baby’s heartbeat and they said they don’t do it anymore which is disappointing. They checked blood pressure and urine and then said to get the flu jab and mentioned about the rsv vaccine. I feel like I have no idea about anything it’s really annoying but I always forget to ask questions etc

I like to chat to my midwife about how things are going, how I am coping physically and mentally and I ask for any tips. I really dislike pregnancy and my family/ friends don’t get it. I use my midwife sessions like pregnancy counselling almost 😅

Thanks everyone, I’ve got a big list of things to ask now 🙈😂 xx

Ask about the free NHS antenatal classes and how to book on. I thought they were great when I was expecting my first. Really informative xx

@Anna I’ve already got myself book on a couple, annoyingly I did it quite late and loads were sold out 🙈 thank you though x
