Holiday as single mum
Hi can anyone help me do I need to get permission from the father to take my child abroad? He is on the birth certificate however doesn’t see the child or have any contact with us

No you don’t unless you going for longer than 30 days. I never ask never take birth certificate but my little one got both surnames xx
Hey I'm a travel agent, there are some countries that do need this. But not usually in Europe. South Africa is the main one I am aware of. Ensure you check the FCO entry requirements, and that will make it clear. Any questions let me know

No you're all fine for Tunisia, I'm travelling there in the new year with out my LOs dad.

No you don’t, my eldest is 8 we’ve been travelling since she was 3 months. Never been asked for permission and we go abroad min 2 x a year , I do take her birth certificate with me though. xx
