Ours mostly came in the 8th week :) I was where you are at that age.
Mine started at 8 weeks (born at 37 weeks) but now at 10 weeks we get lots of smiles every day
Every baby is different. My LB was smiling at 5 weeks. But the HV did say that babies who cry a lot sometimes take longer. My LB has done nothing but cry since the day he was born! Had constant tummy problems so poor lad is in pain all the time xx
I have twin 8 week old boys who haven’t really smiled yet. I’ve been wondering as my toddler smiled at 5 week old. He was 41 week though when he was born and the twins were born at 35 week so I’m hoping they’ll smile lots soon x
My HV asked at 6 weeks if he had started. Said no. She said they usually start smiling somewhere between 6 and 10 (or was it 12? I honestly can't remember..) weeks. My LO started to give a smile here and there, but I feel they are random and not as a reaction to something. He was 7 weeks on Saturday.

What gestation was your baby born? I had baby at 37 weeks and she started properly smiling at 8 weeks ( before that we just saw few here and there), now she is 10 weeks very smiley.
