I was diagnosed with it after pushing my baby out and still going through it he’s now 1 but I’m In a ppd support group they help you through it also I take vitamins to manage the emotions

Not sure if mines is but I started to bald in the middle of my head it’s really tender and of course anxiety is through the roof but I’m also a first time mommy so I’m always nervous

Postpartum means “after birth”. What you mean is postpartum depression. It can happen months after giving birth. Go to your doctor and have your hormones checked. Do a full blood work and see how your estrogen, progesterone levels are, vitamin D levels and everything else. The hair loss is normal because of fluctuating hormones the first year postpartum, it will resolve itself but biotin pills can help. Making sure you’re getting sunlight, me time, enough sleep, and a supportive environment is also key. Support groups can also help, postpartum.net got them online plus other resources
