you can work up to 16 hours and it shouldn’t effect your income and if you earn around 800 pcm then they would remove benefit cap too because your now working part time. Double check with uc but pretty sure it’s 16hrs xx

Thank you girly! I’ll call uc tomorrow and check! X

I’m on UC and have been in and out of temp jobs, it’s not about the hours worked it’s the amount of money you can look it up online but if I remember correctly then you can earn up to £404 if you get help with housing costs and £673 if you do not get help with housing costs and then for every pound earned on top of those amounts your universal credit payment reduces by 55p.

No more then 25 hrs I do 20 and I still get help

Hi roughly how much can u get for housing benefit and uc? My maternity pay ends this month and I’m not looking to go back to work as I have no one to look after my baby but I just wanna know how much u can get from benefits x

They pay my full housing benefit

Universal I get 450 per month

@Faiza they pay my full rent and I get £681 uc for me and my son

@Roma thank you sis x

Doesn’t go by hours you work, it goes off earnings. You can earn up to £404 and they won’t deduct anything from your uc.
