Panorama / Harmony Test

Is anyone one else doing the Panorama or Harmony test (or has done so in the past)? Interested to hear thoughts and experiences of whether they were helpful or caused more worry. As I’m over 40, think it’s probably worth me doing.

Depends what your desired outcome is. In my opinion, it’s extra knowledge. It’s not to determine whether you’ll go through with the pregnancy or not, but rather to prepare yourself with all of the information required for however baby shows up. This gives you the chance to have more info and prepare better

I just had it - I think it depends on you. I need as much info as I can get to ease the anxiety!!

I did the harmony test, gave me such peace of mind. It’s way more accurate than the NHS screening. I mainly did it cos I wanted to find out the gender but I was actually so reassured by it. Definitely worth it in my opinion.

Thanks @Alexa @Harriet Rose and @Eleanor for your comments. Really helpful. I’ve booked the Panorama for two weeks time. At the end of the day, knowledge is power and I’d rather have the most accurate information available.

I did it with my first as the combined screening results really worried be. I was 31 at the time but all 3 were relatively high (all 3 came back as 1:800 - 1:1000) and I panicked. Did a NIPT and all 3 came back as the lowest risk they report. So definitely worth the money to ease your mind, or give you clarity plus you can find out the gender :)

At how many weeks can you get it done? 😊

@Sarah it’s recommended from 11 weeks but can be done earlier

@Sarah I did mine at 10 weeks exactly
