Is this normal
My belly button looks gross. No matter how clean I am it always looks dirty and bruised. Is it just the baby growing. It’s making me feel gross and the midwife said that it’s fine and clean. Idk what to do it’s gone so dark. It even has a black dot in it which looks gross too. Helppp.

Normal. Mines gone odd in all my pregnancies and routinely become an outty. It has gone back to normal after each pregnancy though x
I just hate that it’s gone brown cos it looks dirty my baby dad asked me about it he just assumed I couldn’t see it to wash it properly 😂
I think it's just hormones, much like the appearance of the linea nigra. x
It's caused by an increase in melanin, same as the line down pregnant bellies. So don't worry it's not dirt even if it looks gross and it will go back to normal after birth 😂

Mine looks similar but no matter how much i scrub and prod it doesnt leave its so annoying because now my belly button is starting to come out more im thinking is it normal maybe for the browns stuff to be there but tbh im just as confused as you girl 😂
