?blood sugar levels

Hi, I recently had a GTT but it didn’t work. I was really unwell after this so they said they would see how my blood sugars are for 6 days instead of putting me through this. I’m getting high readings followed by a crash after having a snack. Has anyone else struggled with this? I’ve had a few readings above 8, some 7.8 and 7.9 mmol (1 hour post meal). What levels does your hospital want you to stay under?
