We thought we were one and done, but at our lil ones 6 week check in, my partner raised the idea again. We decided we'd talk at the 6 month mark, but as months went by we started to talk ourselves out of it? Like, over thinking it and psyching ourselves out, pushing it back to the 12 month mark, the 18 month mark, the 24 month mark, until I got upset thinking if we waited that long to try, we might decide not to at all. So, first thought best thought. We're at the 6 month mark and trying again.
I definitely want another but not this close together.
Yes 🙌🏼 me and my partner have both said we want another one and will start trying around next summer
We'd love to, especially that I'm not that young anymore... however first we need to buy our own house cause at the moment we live in rented two bedroom house with our teenager. So I said when we get at least 3 bedroom house and I'm before my 40th birthday (2028), we will have another one

When he was first born we said we wanted another but now I'm realising how hard it would be with two. We've said we will wait till he's 1 and see how we feel then. I think it's recommended you wait at least a year to let your body recover from birth. Plus if you got pregnant now imagine looming after a 1 Yr old when you're 6 to 9 months pregnant! I also don't think we could afford childcare fees for 2 at nursery at same time!
I think about it too ( although I’m 36 and I thought we were one and done), but it’s like… I like to think about it, but not actually prepared to do it…. Similar to how i love thinking about how amazing it would be to get a pigmy goat and we actually have room in the garden but in reality… no. lol
I’ve got a 20 month gap with my 2… and if I was allowed a third I’d be thinking about it now too 😂 I personally love a smaller age gap. I fell pregnant when my girl was 11 months - I did want a smaller age gap but it didn’t work out that way! X
