preeclampsia?

for those who have experienced preeclampsia do you think the small spikes are a sign i’m developing it or just stress. my bp was elevated at my last appointment which made me want to keep an eye on it. i’ve never had high bp or even elevated bp with my last pregnancy.

130s are normal and I was told they would be concerned with a diastolic above 90s. Yours seem way below 90

I’ve never had it, but I’m going to assume stress. Overall, you have good bp. I think constantly checking it will lead to a higher bp because of stress. I wouldn’t worry unless you consistently have high bp, and you experience symptoms of preeclampsia.

Your highest was my highest when I went to the ER a few weeks ago and my heart rate has spiked to 145 and dropped to 124. They told me that was normal but I felt so dizzy and light headed. I just keep an eye on it and let my doctor know of any changes or consistencies!

@Nadine preeclampsia, like any other blood pressure issue doesn’t consistently have issues. You will only have spikes. (I have hypotension normally) there’s things that’ll trigger it because it’s consistent but your body is really good at regulating your system, all my vitals looked normal through my stroke.🤣🤣. But I just wanted you to know in case you ever develop it or anyone else you know :))

Also this isn’t me agreeing or not I’ve never had it so idk and not a doctor but my friend did and hers only spiked here and there she was scared they wouldn’t catch it in the hospital but there’s so much more to it than just bp like protein in ur urine
