sick note for work
has anyone managed to get a sick note from the epu or a midwife over the phone? i’m thinking about asking them for a sick note as i am constantly throwing up and can’t keep anything down and to top it off i also have a cold.
i’m wanting to ring the early pregnancy unit and speak to someone about it but not sure if they will just tell me to get on with it and if they will actually give me one.
has anyone got any advise at all xx

It’s your gp who needs to do it xx
You can self certify for a week anyway so should give you time to speak to the GP 👌
They gave me a sick note even with e-consult. They didn’t even call me.
My Gp was ready to sign me off for 3 months as I was stressed and tired from work and being pregnant. We agreed to 6 weeks with a review to extend. Ring your GP
@Ioana how long did it take for it to come back? i’ve just done a online form for it as that’s what the gp told me to do xx
@katie i think it was either the same day, or the next day, but after I requested it on e-consult, it said it can take up to 5 days or something like that xx

Ring your GP. They should give you a sicknote without question
