Don't know where to start!

My daughter is 2 years old and I'm planning on potty training her next weekend. I know the stuff to get ( potty, potty training pants. Travel potty etc) but I don't know what would be the best way to start? I was thinking: for the 1st week ( rough idea) : Next weekend: nappyless for couple of hours, wearing potty training, trying her on the potty depending our she feels. At night use nappy. Mond - Wed: At nursey , go nappyless for a few hour, few attempts on potty. Fri - Sunday: one day break and back to attempts on potty, training pants and nappyless? At nursery I know I will have to discuss it with them. But would I need to tell them what I've been doing so that they can incorporate? I'm probably making this alot more complicated then what it really is! Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated as really don't where and how to start .

Hi, before we started to do potty training properly, we got our LG to get used to the potty and toilet and to just let her sit if she wanted. When she was ready c. 2.5yrs - we started on a Saturday and went naked for the whole weekend. There were quite a few accidents to begin with but they soon lessoned. We took her to the potty /toilet every 1hr to begin with. Come Monday, she went into nursery in her pants and the nursery were fine as they're use to it. Just pack loads of spare pants and clothes. She is now 3 months in and doing amazing with barely any accidents. No nappy during nap time either (just took her to the toilet before and after nap). She just wears nappy at bed time. Hope this helps.

Thanks @Inga @Alice Dennis really helped!
