Driving test coming up

I have my test first week of October. I failed my last test and I was extremely nervous and shaking. I was thinking of taking something like kalms to ease or help with the nerves and just calm me down. Has anyone taken kalms or anything similar before? Do they work?

Yes, my experience they worked for me I’ve got my driving test this Thursday coming up and I always get nervous So I would say try then before your test and see if it works for you

I used them before my driving test and passed

@Madison how many times a day do you take them? I’ve heard you have to take them like a week before in order for them to start working

@Becky how often did you take them?

Sorry, it’s 10 years ago so I don’t remember specifically, but basically followed package instructions for 24 hours before the test so they were in my system x

I take one the day before then one before my test x

I was told for it to work you need to take it a few days before or even a week before

That would make sense as it needs to get in your system…I think I was pushing it a bit so maybe start a few days before

Hi, did you pass your test?

@Anne it’s on Monday

Okay, hope you pass. I failed mine today, sadly

@Anne oh no sorry to hear that! I know the feeling I failed my test back in June so this will be my second. What did you fail on?

The roundabout. He said I crossed the markings on the ground. Tbh, I don't think I did as it's a roundabout I use often, and I've practised with my instructor several times. I felt he was just searching for something to fail me on. I've been driving for 16 years! 1 year in the uk with a driver besides me. Even my driving instructor was totally shocked

@Anne I’ve not heard of going over the markings ever failing anyone before! He definitely sounds like one of those who just fail people for fun! have you thought about taking your test in a different city? with different examiners.

That is exactly what I would do next. I'm planning on moving soon anyway. I'll get a driving instructor in the new city just to show me around with a few lessons, I'll do another mock test with him then book a test again. Thanks
