Anyone else scared to try for another baby

We both agree we wanted about a 2 year age gap in-between both children and we both said we would start trying in September. Which means now. With June 2023 baby we were not trying but we were not trying to stop it either. So it was kinda a surprise but not really as we didn't prevent it. The idea of actually putting pressure on trying and being disappointed I am not getting the exact age difference makes me scared. Or falling pregnant again knowing that we were trying again makes me scared. I never had the worry with my first as we were not trying so I am scared to go through the emotion of it not working and not falling pregnant.

Just treat it like the first time, don't do anything to prevent it, if it happens it happens, don't put too much pressure on it. I think I've seen online a lot of people say once they stopped actively trying they got pregnant

I agree with alisha don't try. We started trying for baby number 3 beginning of this year...a few months in started ovulation testing and still nothing. Got so stressed and upset each month decided now to stop 'trying' but carry on trying without the pressure I'm not even looking at my app to check ovulation or periods.

I’m pregnant with our second and we just went with the ‘not trying actively just not preventing it’ aka I didn’t check my ovulation and we just went with it. It puts less pressure on it for us 🥰
