Toilet training refusal at home

So my daughter seems ready for toilet training she knows when she's weeing and pooing now and has done some wee wees on the big girl toilet! I sent her in nursery in her knickers and she went on the toilet for a wee and had 1 accident the same the next day and then yesterday also! We then went to MIL and she had an accident so we took her to the toilet straight after and she did a little dribble. Also had this happen at home. At home she'll happily just wee herself even after I've just put her on the toilet! And sometimes will basically refuse to go 🙄 I've tried to make it fun with bubbles and slime to play with. Do I give up and try again soon🧐

Don’t give up. I have potty trained loads of children in 20 years working with them. If you give up you will confuse your child. Take your child to the toilet every 30mins and about 20mins after a drink. You seem to be doing the right thing trying to make it fun. Maybe get her to pick a book and read it on the toilet. Maybe a small sweet after she’s been the toilet. 1 accident in a day is really good.

Don’t give up! We took over two months potty training my daughter. And although it was such a long process of accidents and spare clothes. One day it did just click! And we did get there. Take your time with her.

@Amanda thank you I'll persevere along then, no one tells you how hard it is but I know she's ready! I wish it was only 1 accident she 4 or 5 in one afternoon which really made me question it! Have a 8 week old also so it's making it more difficult but we'll solider on 🤷‍♀️

I know few mums who have decided to stop for awhile and come back to it later. So nothing wrong if you also decide that.
